About the Author
JON STONE was an original collaborator with Jim Henson, the first Producer of Sesame Street, and a long-time writer and director for the show. His unique humor marked the early years of the show. He wrote numerous Sesame Street books, most of which were illustrated by Michael Smollin.
MICHAEL SMOLLIN illustrated many, many Sesame Street titles for both Golden Books and Random House, a number of them written by Jon Stone. Smollin worked in advertising and in both commercial and book illustration for many years before retiring.
