"This murder mystery takes place in a small town called Point Mettier, Alaska, where all the residents live in the same condo building (the DaveCo as the locals call it) - that's how remote this place is. When body parts are found on the shore by a local teenager, Amy, news travels to Cara, a detective from Anchorage, who has a personal reason for picking up the case. We follow along the trail with Cara, Amy, and Lonnie, a local outsider who has an odd tourist attraction for a pet. As the case goes deeper, connecting to people's pasts and some of their motives for being in the small town to begin with, clues start to seep through the cracks. Getting to see the story unfold between three different viewpoints gave the mystery more depth and I'd recommend this title to anyone who enjoys slow-burn mysteries."--Reviewed by Sallie
